Polyurea is a spray applied, plural component system that can be sprayed to thicknesses up to 1000 mils (1 inch) in a single application. Since it is spray applied, it leaves a seamless monolithic coating system in place. Polyurea is best known for its protection against the following four methods of degradation: chemical contact, abrasion, corrosion, and impact.

Polyurea can be applied to a variety of substrates including: wood, steel, geotextile fabric, and concrete. It exhibits very impressive performance characteristics. It has very high elongation (300-600%) and tensile properties (2000-2500 psi), while maintaining excellent abrasion resistance. Polyurea can be blended to have high chemical resistance properties and a wide service temperature range (-40 ºF to 250 ºF constant exposure). It is UV stable and does not become brittle after years of exposure to the sun and other harsh weather conditions.
